Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”

Norm Millar

Before going into ministry, Norm had an 18-year career in computer software design and project management.

Norm obtained his MDiv from The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles. In 2000, he planted, with 30 others, SouthWest Community church in London. SouthWest transitioned to Harvest Bible Chapel London in 2006.

Norm graduated in May 2017 with his DMin from Southern Seminary. Norm has been married to Cindy for 37 years, they have five children, and ten grandchildren.

JD Greear

J.D. Greear is the pastor of The Summit Church, in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina which has grown from 300 to nearly 10,000, and is one of Outreach magazine’s “top 25 fastest-growing churches in America”.

In the last ten years, the church has sent out more than 650 people to live on church planting teams—in North Carolina, across the United States, and around the world.

Pastor J.D. Greear has authored several books, including Gaining by Losing: Why the Future Belongs to Churches That Send (2015). Pastor J.D. completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Veronica live in Raleigh and have four children.

Robbie Symons

Robbie Symons is the founding Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville. His greatest passion is to see Jesus Christ glorified as people realize their potential only through His amazing power.

With a Spirit-led resolve to proclaim the Word of God without apology, to passionately worship His only Son, and to believe firmly in the power of prayer, Jesus is building His Church. Harvest Oakville has experienced the power and grace of the Lord in its growth from a Bible study of 18 people in 2003 to over 4000 people today.

God burdened Robbie and the church elders early on with the conviction to plant churches. Through much prayer, they have seen the birth of several vibrant churches across Canada.

Robbie has a radio ministry of Harvest Oakville called Live in the Light which reaches Southern Ontario and Western New York. He is also the author of Passion Cry.

Robbie and his wife Gillian live in Burlington, Ontario with their four children.

Brian White

Since 2007, Brian White has served as Lead Pastor of Harvest North Indy – a thriving, gospel-centered church with campuses in Carmel and Anderson, Indiana. Committed to the bold, expository preaching of God’s Word, Brian is passionate about seeing people respond in faith to Christ and grow to become disciple-makers in their communities.

He is a graduate of Cedarville University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and is currently completing his doctoral work at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Besides his ministry at Harvest, Brian uses his passion and experience in church planting and leadership development to help train and coach pastors across the country toward a ministry of intentional disciple-making and strategic church multiplication.

He and his wife, Laura have been married for 19 years and reside in Noblesville, Indiana where they enjoy life and ministry with their five children.

Ted Duncan

Ted is the founding pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Brampton, a vibrant and diverse church in the heart of a growing city. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ted served on staff at Harvest Bible Chapel in Oakville for five years before moving to Brampton as a church planter in 2009.

He earned bachelors degrees in History and Education at Queen’s University and a Master of Divinity at Heritage Theological Seminary in Cambridge Ontario.

Ted is trusting God each day and spending himself in order that more and more people from more and more nations will hear the gospel and worship Jesus. He and his wife Lyncey fell in love at summer camp. Ted loves to ski and Lyncey’s a snowboarder but they still manage to get along. They live in Brampton with their four energetic and entertaining sons.

TRENT GRIFFITH (Harvest Bible Chapel Granger)

God loves to bring dead things to life! Both the pages of Scripture and church history shout that God loves to show his glory brightest in the darkest times.

Good discipleship programming is not enough to grow and sustain the church. We desperately need a move of God to awaken us to His holiness and grace.

JASON MATTA (Harvest Bible Chapel Toronto West)

The prayerless life is the one that says, thanks God – I got this…Prayer is the oxygen for the spiritual life.

Apart from Christ we can do nothing, so prayer is the admission to God that we are desperate for Him. If we fail to pray we fail to understand the theology of our relationship with God at its core.

NATHAN PENNY (Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville)

Is there really a theological framework for Biblical Counselling?

We counsel by helping people see the need for God’s Word as their foundation. A vertical approach is everything as we seek to live our lives to glorify Him.

TODD DUGARD (Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie)

The Church in our land will not move forward without true, vertical, biblical preaching.

The call to preach is a high one—and it’s paramount that we continue to stand on the Word in every aspect of our teaching.

TIM HAMER (Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville)

Don’t miss the call on what’s most important…the gospel. According to Scripture, there is no way to avoid sharing the Word—so how do we carry this humble yet bold mindset of going forth?

Each church plays a part in missions and discipleship, what does that look like in your church?

DARYL MOLYNEAUX (Harvest Bible Chapel Niagara)

Our dependence on the Holy Spirit is paramount if our churches are to be truly vertical. The person, power, and presence of the Holy Spirit are paramount within our churches—so why don’t we hear about it?
